The Nigerian Army on 27 April 23 conducted a historic presentation and Trooping of Colours at a very colourful Parade in Abuja. President, the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, President Mohammadu Buhari, was the Reviewing Officer .
The 2023 Trooping and Presentation of Colours Parade was held at the Eagles Square in Abuja and the event witnessed the retiring and replacing of 53 unit colours and the issuance of 28 new ones to combat units of one of African largest army.
The colours were presented to combat and combat support units or Regiments newly established and operationalised whose colours are damaged, old or worn out.
The colour presentation parade was adjudged the largest parade in Africa by many media houses, ( Not with facts) hence, attracted the attention of our Editorial Board. For this reason, for making Nigeria proud as they always do, Nigerian Army is secured Nigeria Organisation of the Week.
