81 Division Nigerian Army (NA) is scheduled to host its Operation Planning
Cadre for year 2023. The theme for this year Cadre is “Leadership and Tactical Operational
Planning Within Joint Environment”. The cadre will hold from 17 to 21 April 2023 at 81 Division Officers’ Mess, Outer Marina, Victoria Island Lagos by 0830am. The cadre is meant to refresh participants on the various aspects of operation planning process in a joint and single service environment.
The Special Guest of Honour for the event is Maj Gen AM Alabi. The Training Event will have in attendance senior military officers from the three services namely, the General Officer Commanding 81 Division Nigerian Army, Major General OC Ajunwa, the Fleet Officer Commanding wester Naval Command, The Air Officer Commanding Logistic Command, Corps Commanders, Commanders, Principal Staff Officers and Commanding Officers in 81 Division Area of Responsibility.
Highly respected scholars in both the military and academia will be delivery carefully selected lectures during the event. Some of the topics to be brainstormed on include, Whole of Society Approach in Combating Contemporary Security Challenges, Social Media Management in Asymmetric Warfare, Counter Insurgency and Counter Terrorism Planning: The Role of Air Support amongst others.
This also serves as an official invitation to the general public to grace the occasion.
